Do You Really Need My Help?
Ok, first things first… let’s make sure you really need my help. When I say custom coding, I’m typically talking about small projects that require tweaking of some code. If you want me to write the next Facebook or WordPress for you, I’ll pass. A perfect example of the kind of work I’m talking about is the XML Data Feed for Google Base. I’ve customized this script several times for different clients. That’s the scope we’re talking about here.
So, if you need a WordPress theme tweaked, or you need a small script or plugin written to add some specific functionality to your site and you’re not sure how to do it yourself, then you do need my help. Continue.
How I Work With My Clients
I’m pretty laid back, so I only have a few “rules” when it comes to working with clients.
- 50% of the project cost is due upfront. No exceptions.
- 50% is due upon delivery of the finished code.
- Please provide me with your best contact details.
That’s it. In return, I will…
- Start on your project right away.
- Complete it in a timely manner.
- Stay in constant contact with you.
- Give you a stable, customized script you can rely on.
- Help you with any setup the script may require.
I also will record a video showing you how to set up and use the script, so you’re not left hanging once you get it.
How Much Will It Cost You?
The honest answer is, “I have no clue!” It all depends on what the project is, how involved it is, etc. But, submit the quote request form below and I’ll send you a quote. Be sure to include EVERYTHING you need done, because I will quote what you send me. The price of the project will not change from what I quote, as long as, the scope and feature set of the particular script does not increase.
And, I pay close attention to this, so be sure to be very thorough when filling out the quote request. If you want an accurate quote that doesn’t suddenly double half-way through your project, then give me a clear, detailed description of exactly what you need the script to do, so I can quote it properly.
That said, I won’t do anything for less than $150. It’s really a waste of my time to do anything for less than that. So, be sure you’re willing to pay at least that for the script you want me to build for you.
